The terms “We”, “Us”, “Our”, for the purposes of the following privacy policy, refer to the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Psychologists (also known as TTAP), its creators and/or maintainers. Also, the terms “You”, “Your” for the purposes of the following privacy policy refer to the individual or individuals making use of the TTAP website “www.psychologytt.org”.

Our Promise
As the body representing psychologists in Trinidad and Tobago, we do our best to ensure that our actions are geared towards the betterment of the mental health of the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.

Who Can Use Our Services?
TTAP caters to the needs of psychologists by way of professional development and representation, and to members of the public by way of safe referrals for services, psychological education, advocacy and in some cases, provision of mental health services.

Persons experiencing strong suicidal urges, are advised to contact the local emergency services, a local hospital or a local hotline to receive immediate assistance. TTAP will not hold accountability for persons with suicidal behaviours, thoughts, or actions.

Chat & Forum - Live Support
We promote a supportive and amicable atmosphere in our forums (e.g. Tapped In). We do not tolerate the use of any of our services while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Abuse towards our members will not be tolerated. Any such incidents shall be reported immediately and followed up by severe action. Consequences for abuse include being banned from our service and hence excluded from the website and forum.

Payments
Payments may be made via MasterCard and Visa through PayPal or via a deposit to TTAP’s bank account. For maximum security, SSL encrypted connections (https) are used to facilitate all payments. Your private bank details are never divulged to us or any other third parties.
