TTAP MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

FINANCIAL MEMBERS

All persons who have paid their membership dues (affiliate, student associate, graduate associate, member, full member, fellow, honorary member) will be listed as current financial members in good standing, on the TTAP website. Financial member benefits include:

Opportunities for working with other Psychologists, potential Employers, Allied Professionals and Collaborators.
Membership discounts on all workshops and conferences
Attendance at all meetings, involvement in public forums and public awareness programs
Opportunities to conduct workshops based on your areas of expertise
Listing in the TTGPA List of Professionals Handbook.
Job opportunities when requests are made by organizations

DIRECTORY MEMBERS

Additionally, TTAP is often asked to provide referrals for Psychologists and as a Full financial member and practicing psychologist only, you are eligible to be on the Directory referral list. You must be currently practicing as a psychologist and would have completed more than 1500 hours of internship or practical experience. These referrals would have:

Formal endorsement to Insurance Companies to facilitate Insurance coverage for clients for reimbursement of fees.
Inclusion (optional) on the referral list
Opportunities to sit on Government Organisations, NGOs, and other Committees and Panels representing the interest of Psychologists.

Membership Types & Fees

Student Associate
A Student Associate is someone that is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology or any related field.
FEES - TT$200 per calendar year

Graduate Associate
A Graduate Associate is someone who has already obtained an undergraduate degree in a related field.
FEES - TT$400 per calendar year

Member
A Member is someone who has already obtained an undergraduate degree in psychology.
FEES - TT$400 per calendar year

Full Member
A Full Member is someone who has already obtained a minimum of a Master’s degree in psychology.
FEES - TT$500 per calendar year

Affiliate Member
An Affiliate Member is someone who has already obtained a minimum of a Master’s degree in a related field.
FEES - TT$500 per calendar year

Fellow
Any member who is in good standing and who enjoys high academic achievement as well as successful professional experience for at least 15 years shall be eligible for nomination as a Fellow.
FEES - TT$500 per calendar year

Affiliate Group Member
This is for those institutions whose aims are consistent with those of TTAP. An Affiliate Group Member is entitled to have voting rights at AGMs and Special Meetings and receives a fifty percent (50%) discount at TTAP events.
FEES - TT$1,500 per calendar year

Honorary Member
Any person who has made commendable contributions to the furtherance of the profession of Psychology or to TTAP shall be eligible for nomination as an Honorary Member.
FEES – Exempt from fees
